Starting from Mew and MewTwo, all the way to the titans Palkia, Dialga and Regigigas. And next is the God of Pokemon and the one currently sitting at the very top of the Pokemon hierarchy – Arceus.
This is supposedly the last movie of the Diamond & Pearl series. Makes you wonder what they’re going to come up with next.
Really though, how are they going to top the God of Pokemon? The God of an alternate Poke-world?
Now a 20 seconds trailer has been released to the public and for those who had already seen the magazine scan of one giant Regigigas hand, you will find that scene here in this very trailer.
Pokemon 10th Movie: Dialga VS Palkia VS Darkrai was released in Japan just a couple of days ago, and at the end of the movie a short teaser for the 11th movie was shown. Many lucky Japanese managed to obtained their Darkrai, and trading forums across the web is getting swarmed by requests of trade for one.
It would seem that the 11th movie will be starring Regigigas, the King of Regis. In the game Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, Regigigas is a legendary that can be obtained by gathering the 3 Regis – Registeel, Regice and Regirock – at Snowpoint Temple at Snowpoint City.
A colossal Pokemon, its Pokedex entry states that there is an enduring legend that states this Pokemon towed continents with ropes. It is also the first ever Legendary to be a Normal type Pokemon.
From this scan, we can obviously see Regigigas’ hand seemingly appeared from underneath the plants, causing great damage to the surrounding earth. There are also rumors that Shaymin will be making an appearance as well, a grass type Pokemon that looks like a flowering plant, which would look somewhat similar to the flowers seen in the scan above.
Ahh.. Just 2 more days to the release of the 10th Pokemon Movie: Dialga VS Palkia VS Darkrai in Japan and those who are attending the event would be able to unlock the Darkrai event on their Pokemon Diamond & Pearl games on Nintendo DS. I want to go so badly, not only to watch the movie, but to grab a Darkrai as well
Speaking of Pokemon, I came across a thread at the Pokemon Community forum discussing about whether or not it is childish to watch the series and how others would make fun of those who are still watching the show. I posted my thoughts in a nutshell in reply to that, and thought it would make a great topic in general for my blog as well. However, it’s getting quite late and I’m on the verge of falling flat on my keyboard so I’ll keep it for tomorrow’s post instead
This is actually taken from an old teaser shown on Japanese TV during the airing of Pokemon Diamond & Pearl 1 hour special (Episode 13 & 14).
The two screenshots were taken from the teaser, featuring the battle between Dialga and Palkia, possibly in their own dimension before the two Legendaries mysteriously appeared in Álamos Town.
Dialga and Palkia prepares to battle each other. Both symbol of diamond and pearl can be seen glowing and illuminating the two Pokemon as they charge up their energy:
If you haven’t watched the latest trailer for the 10th Pokemon movie, here it is:
You can see the part when Darkrai first made its appearance in the movie, protecting Ash/Satoshi and Alice from a blast from either Dialga or Palkia. You just gotta love how Darkrai’s name was said at the end of the trailer
The director for this movie, Kunihiko Yuyama (????) had mentioned before that Darkrai holds the key to this movie but would not elaborate on which side it is on. But based on the trailer, we could probably speculate that Darkrai is indeed trying to stop the battle between the other two Legendaries.
