Seishuu Festivals begin

Rating: 8/10

Shakugan no Shana II Episode 12

The Seishuu festival has started! Everyone set aside their problems and spends this day with joys and smiles. I loves the costumes they made for the parade especially Shana’s where it brings out her childlike cuteness. Ike on the other hand may never survive the day.

From a simple mention of Silver, Margery’s determination to hunt Silver down is still strong but though driven by hatred, she has not not lost her human side. Same as to Shana and Wilhelmina where they both learn to love and to care. All three enjoyed pleasant times of the little peace they have.

And finally Pheles has made her dramatic entry while Shana was about to confess. As a lady passionate about her late love, will it be enough to overcome Yuuji’s will and Shana’s love.Pheles

Weekly Review #17 – Naruto, Shana II, Dragonaut

Posted by Neko Kyou in Weekly Review on November 11th, 2007

This might be the last weekly review I’ll be doing. I’m beginning to find the need to review multiple episodes of anime in a single post to be quite tiring so I wanna try to do it the more “common” way which is to do a review of it right after I’ve finished watching it. It would probably save more time and trouble since I would be more pumped up right after watching the episode.

Naruto Shippuuden Episode 33

Shakugan no Shana II Episode 4 – 5

Dragonaut – The Resonance Episode 2 – 3

Naruto Shippuuden

Episode 33: The Next Target

Rating: 6/10

Naruto Shippuuden Episode 33

Team Kakashi and Team Gai finally made it back to Konoha. Kakashi ended up in the hospital and needs to stay there for a week, and Sakura told Tsunade about what Sasori had said. Shizune tried to convince Tsunade not to let Naruto go on the mission but as Tsunade expected, Naruto had already overheard their conversation.

Naruto immediately left to find new team members for their new mission and he slowly ran into Team Kurenai’s member one by one.

It’s kinda hilarious to see how sensitive Shino had become, although Naruto did have a point. Shino is even more covered up than he used to be, it would be quite a miracle if the dense minded Naruto could recognize him straight away.

It’s also been a while since we’ve last seen Hinata’s nervous antics. Unlike Sakura, Hinata had actually grown a little. Physically, that is. The best part has got to be when Naruto told Hinata to “shut up and follow him”. If only Sakura was there too XD

And Sai finally made an appearance. Judging from his skin colour, I wonder if he’s even alive.

Shakugan no Shana II

Episode 4: Melancholy Girls

Rating: 6/10

Shakugan no Shana II Episode 4

Someone. Kill. Sakai. Yuuji.

He’s not being dense. He’s just pretending to be. He enjoys having a loli that clings to him wherever he goes. Just look at his expression. Someone get Khamsin back and have him squash Yuuji with his uber precision and make it look like an accident.

Supersize FTW!

Ok, seriously though, I’m very disappointed that there hasn’t been any real action yet so far. While the love-hate thing going on is interesting to say to least, it’s not what most fans have come to expect from Shana. We expect tons of enemies showering upon the Flame Haze, Shana’s explosive sword fights, Margery’s lame attempt at poetry and Marco’s infectious laughter in battlefield.

Instead so far we’re getting a love triangle that isn’t going anywhere with one of the most dense character in history, ever. He doesn’t even have the slightest idea which is not only annoying Shana and Kazumi, but fans as well. This isn’t Shuffle, damnit! This is Shana!

Episode 5: Family Dining

Rating: 6/10

Shakugan no Shana II Episode 5

Wilhelmina tries to cook.

See previous rant above.

Still wishing Yuuji dead.

Happy that some other couple is having better progress compared to said person whom I wish dead.

Well, at least there’s some growth between Shana and Wilhelmina’s relationship. Shana seem to finally realize how much she means to Wilhelmina and vice versa (although I thought they made it quite clear at the end of the previous season). Then again, no one seems to really remember all the things that were said and done at that time.

Dragonaut – The Resonance

Episode 2: Rendezvous – The World Begins to Stir –

Rating: 7/10

Dragonaut Episode 2

Jin finally discovered the truth behind the shuttle incident that took everything away from him. The true culprit wasn’t his father’s carelessness but an alien life from Thanatos, a dragon.

Jin and Kazuki are finally united after 2 years. However, it doesn’t seem like it would really be a happy reunion, especially when Kazuki pointed a gun at Jin.

One of the Dragonauts, Amagi, goes mad after shooting Toa and caused his dragon, Spirytus to transform and go berserk. After chomping up his master, Spirytus chased after Jin and Toa.

Toa was then forced to reveal her true form in order to fight against Spirytus and a shocked Jin discovered that the one person he truly trusted was also a dragon.

I can’t exactly say that the dragon CGs are good looking, but they’re pretty cool nonetheless. The scene when Toa transformed and confronted Spirytus reminded me of the 10th Pokemon movie – Dialga vs Palkia vs Darkra in more ways than one…

Episode 3: Awakening – Rallied Wings –

Rating: 8/10

Dragonaut Episode 3

The battle between dragons intensified as more dragons joined in the fun. What’s interesting is that the dragons each have a cockpit of sorts that allows their masters to pilot and control them.

It’s pretty hard to get any real good look on the dragons (except Toa) since they’re pretty dark and they’re battling in the night sky.

Gio awakened as well but unfortunately for Kazuki, Gio doesn’t seem to care for anything except Toa. Looks like Gio might have some connection with Toa since he said he was born to protect her. Now Kazuki has a reason to hate Jin 😛 It would be interesting to see how things turn out.

Weekly Review #16 – Naruto, Shana II, Dragonaut

Dragonaut – The Resonance Episode 1

Naruto Shippuuden

Episode 32: The Kazekage’s Return

Rating: 6/10

Naruto Shippuuden Episode 32

First off, Tobi’s voice is fail. I was really expecting something more smooth and boyish. Then again, all the newly introduced Akatsuki members in the anime had totally different type of voice than I’d imagined. But Sai’s voice is quite fitting (although maybe I’m just partial to Satoshi-san 😛 ) Maybe I’ll grow to like it, just as I did with Deidara. But I just can’t imagine Tobi’s voice staying like that after… well if you’ve read the manga you’d probably catch my meaning.

This episode is also quite a drag, but thankfully it’s truly the end of rescue Gaara arc. The joke after the episode of the Sand shinobi’s not going to show up for a loooong long time to come was pretty funny especially if you’ve read the manga up until now. Absolutely no trace of the Sand, unless the anime decides to come up with fillers.

Like the previous episode, the overall mood is pretty sombre up to the point when the Konoha team starts to leave for home. When Gaara reached the village, he was surprised to see that everyone was waiting and cheering for him. Again, as a sign of respect, Gaara had Chiyo-baa’s body enter the village first as everyone prays silently.

Thankfully there isn’t much flashback especially at the gravestone scene. I was afraid that Sakura will be showing plenty of flashbacks on the battle against Sasori, highlighting Chiyo-baa.

Things get a little bit crazy after the Konoha teams left. Gai was so irritated that he couldn’t move fast while helping Kakashi to walk that he decided to piggyback him instead. The look on Kakashi’s face pure gold. It’s like saying that he rather be left behind to rot instead of being piggybacked by (and especially) Gai.

As for Akatsuki…

Shakugan no Shana II

Episode 3: Suspicious Transfer Student

Rating: 7/10

Shakugan no Shana II Episode 3

I know Bal Masque is planning something… I just wish I knew what! The slow build-up is driving me a bit crazy. It’s obvious Bel Peol is up to something, but it has been so random and meaningless so far. Konoe Fumina is probably not Hecate herself, but its obvious that Bel Peol has something to do with this. One thing is for sure though, she does act a whole lot like how I would imagine the real Hecate would be like.

Konoe really acts like a Princess who has everything done for her and so naive as well. Although her instinctive behaviour that always tries to be nearby Yuji is kinda puzzling. Is Bel Peol trying to distract and confuse the Flame Haze, diverting their attention elsewhere while she conducts a masterplan to get hold of the Reiji Maigo?

Hopefully we’ll find that out soon and have the superb Flame Haze vs Tomogara action which was what made the first season such a success.

Dragonaut – The Resonance

Episode 1: Resonance – Joined Hands

Rating: 7/10

Dragonaut The Resonance Episode 1

I initially expected Dragonaut to be something like Fate/Stay Night based on the trailers, but the vibe I’m getting after watching the first episode feels more like Eureka 7 and Gundam, although its also way different from those two.

The first episode sort of pulls you in by baiting you with questions and half answers, making you want to know more and continue on with the next episode. The intro showed some interesting looking CGs, which looks a lot like dragons (It never occurred to me until now that the title had something to do with dragons *sigh*) so I’m really looking forward to seeing them.

Jin lost everything when the shuttle him and his family was on exploded right after launch but he somehow miraculously survived. Hailed as a hero for being the sole survivor, he was later on turned into a public enemy when investigations revealed that the cause of the explosion was due to pilot error, who was his father.

Of all the new anime I’ve watched this season, Dragonaut seems to have the most potential judging by just the first episode.

Naruto Shippuuden Episode 31

New op with Yamato and Sai!

Hurray for Yamato, boo for Sai 😛

None of the main characters moved more than 10 feet in this episode, plenty of flashbacks and dragging scenes, but somehow it falls nicely into place. Chiyo-baa uses her remaining life force to revive Gaara, but her chakra was just about to run out. Naruto quickly offered his own chakra to help, not knowing the truth behind the jutsu the granny is using.

I wonder, if Naruto had known that Chiyo-baa will be giving up her life, would Naruto had stopped her? It would have probably torn Naruto into pieces, which is probably why no one said a thing. Neji and Kakashi roughly knew what was happening but said nothing. If Sakura had not realized Chiyo-baa’s resolve, she probably would have stopped her herself.

Naruto should have sensed something was wrong when Chiyo-baa pretty much left her will with him, but being the dense idiot he is, he didn’t noticed anything strange at all. *sigh*

It’s a pretty good episode and quite touching. I especially liked the part where Gaara started dreaming again and Naruto finally came for him. Before he knew it, he was already sitting up with everyone including shinobi’s from the Sand who came to backup the Konoha group.

The reality of what Chiyo-baa had done finally dawned upon Naruto. With Naruto’s help, Gaara stood up and asked everyone to pray for her.

There’s no action whatsoever in this episode, but this is probably the best Shippuuden episode so far if you ask me.

Shakugan no Shana

Episode 2: Beginning of Everything

Rating: 8/10

Shakugan no Shana II Episode 2

It was really funny to see Wilhelmina becoming envious that Shana asked Yuji’s mother to teach her how to cook. She took her grief out on Yuji during training and almost suffocated him to death when he suddenly unleashed some strong power that burnt off Wilhelmina’s bandages.

At least now we’re 100% certain that Yuji’s power had indeed increased since Seirei-den. The Bal Masque also seemed to be making their next move as well.

The Guze no Tomogara, Mare, who attacked them before returned again, this time trapping not only Yuji but Shana and Yoshida as well. Shana took on Bel Peol while Yuji tried to wake Yoshida up so that they could escape the dream world.

Yuji soon realized that Mare’s true objective was the Reiji Maigo inside him, but it was already too late. Mare had already reached the Reiji Maigo, but unfortunately for her, the Reiji Maigo was protected by a Keeper, which dealt a fatal wound on her.

Wilhelmina’s expression when told about the Keeper suggested that she might know something about the Keeper of the Reiji Maigo. At the end of the episode a new transfer student was introduced to the class… The Master Throne Hecate!

Hecate in a Seifuku… XD~

Lucky Star

I’ve actually finished Lucky Star a few weeks ago but I completely forgot to blog about it! I finished it at the start of the week, but due to the heavy workload I had it must have slipped my mind. :(

Episode 21: Pandora’s Box

Rating: 8/10

Lucky Star Episode 21

It’s time for a change of uniform again!

Konata spent 40-50k yen on this year’s Comiket, which brought back some not so pleasant memories. And it seems that Yutaka is also getting used to Soujiro’s eccentric behaviour.

Tsukasa finds it difficult to study late into the night so Kagami suggested that she sleeps early and wake up earlier instead of forcing herself awake at night. She followed her suggestion and set her alarm, but still woke up at the usual time the next morning. Apparently she had stopped the alarm when it rang and went back to sleep.

Kagami suggested that Tsukasa get someone who wakes up early to wake her up, like their mother. However, she still woke up the same time the next morning. When Tsukasa rushed down to ask her mother, she said she did wake up but must have went back to sleep again. Kagami could only sigh lol

As they say, if you have a great idea, write it down immediately or you will forget it. This is especially so for writers or artists. Just look at Hiyorin XD

The class is going for a field trip to Kyoto by bus. Orochimaru The tour guide often use puns but only one person in the entire class found it funny each time. And you just knew what Konata would do after Tsukasa got attacked by the deers rofl

I actually somewhat understand how Konata feels about not being able to sleep without turning her DS on at least once a day. I was exactly the same the first couple of months after I bought my DS. But Tsukasa surprised me by bringing her alarm clock along.

Sometimes I wonder if Konata was a New Type and it’s almost confirmed now when Konata had that “sudden sense” like how Fllaga and Kruuze always knew when the other was nearby. The part with the wish “Konata is my wife” is actually something that was really written in that shrine in real life. That otaku must have been really happy to see that reference 😛

Kagami then received a note to meet with someone that night. At first glance it looks like an invitation for a confession. But it’s quite obviously a fake XD But Konata sure has good senses when it comes to Kagami, starting when she didn’t say anything to Konata’s comment on Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. Kagami sure looked disappointed afterwards.

It’s kinda heartwarming that Konata tried to cheer Kagami up indirectly and despite her protest, Kagami really did cheer up afterwards. Can’t say the same for Kuroi-sensei. When she was about to relax after the trip by playing her MMO, she found out the server was down for maintenance.

And guess who’s back from Mount. Fuji? Shiraishi Minoru is back and he finally snapped, wrecking the entire Lucky Channel set in the process.

Episode 22: There Over Here

Rating: 9/10

Lucky Star Episode 22

It’s really amazing how people can be so generous can be such a miser as well. Cousin Yui is one prime example here.

Kuroi-sensei is sure a huge baseball nut. She believes in the Japanese team so much that she claims that the winners of the American’s Major League can’t be declared the world’s best if they can’t win the Japanese teams, which according to her is 10 years too early.

While chatting, Konata recalled that Miyuki always sleeps early. She started thinking about how sleep helps growth and decided that must be the reason for Miyuki’s “growth”. She told Yutaka that night about her findings and wondered why Yutaka is still so small even though she sleeps a lot. Yutaka felt hurt about that comment and told Iwasaki the next day in school. As you would have expected, Iwasaki went to bed early that night.

Yutaka listening to her iPod is probably her most kawaii scenes in the entire Lucky Star series XD Too bad Konata had to spoil her mood.

I’m not sure about everyone else, but I tend to have a habit of doing gestures as if I’m talking directly with a person in front of me even though it’s through the phone. Like Kagami said, it’s probably habit.

In the previous episode Tsukasa had problems staying awake. This time its the other way round. She started to find problems trying to fall asleep lol.

Based on the conversation between Konata and Kagami, I guess it’s very safe to conclude that the light novel Kagami had lent to Konata a while back was actually Full Metal Panic. Speaking of which, I wonder when the next season will be out 😛

Konata asked her dad if someone in their class falls for either herself or Yutaka, would that make them lolicons and Soujiro went about in circles trying to answer the question. Then when asked if he was a lolicon, Soujiro denied that he was one. According to him, he also likes normal girls, so that makes him also a lolicon *rofl*

Then she asked about why her mother, Kanata, had chosen to marry her lolicon father. Kanata was very happy when Konata was born, and wished that her daughter won’t inherit her height and her father’s lunacy. Unfortunately, Konata turned out to be tiny and eccentric XD

The next part is one of my favourite in the entire series – Kanata’s spirit came for a visit! She really has a great timing as she came in just in time to listen to the father-daughter conversation on why Kanata had decided to marry Soujiro. If there is any real serious moment in this anime, this is it. And this is the reason why I gave this episode a rating of 9. If Kanata’s scene were longer, it might actually hit a perfect 10 XD

I just love her expressions whenever Soujiro does something shady and Konata’s harsh comments.

Episode 23: A Fine Line

Rating: 8/10

Lucky Star Episode 23

I think the only person capable of using Konata’s computer is herself. Seriously.

The difference between a sick person who is a gamer and a sick person who isn’t:

Non-gamer sick person will always be in bed.

Gamer sick person will always be having fun playing games. (Guilty of this XD)

Cousin Yui really showed her appreciation to Iwasaki for visiting Yutaka, but totally ignored Hiyorin and Patty. It’s pretty funny when the anime-fan trio’s joke completely baffled the other “normal” trio.

While discussing about doujinshi’s, Yutaka said that she wanted to read Hiyorin’s doujin and Konata said that she would lend them to her but was quickly stopped by Hiyorin. But Konata insisted that doujin are meant to be read and Hiyorin really looked troubled.

And Konata really did that as Hiyorin found out a few days later. Yutaka tried to comfort Hiyorin by saying that she really enjoyed her work and that she felt dejavu while reading them. But the truth was, those dejavu parts were probably based on Yutaka and Iwasaki in the first place.

Kagami must have been playing too much games with Konata as she easily beat Misao in a game on the PS2. But she felt really bad since Misao was having more fun that she did even though she was losing. It’s kinda annoying when that happens.

Patty’s taste in J-Pop is pretty much the same with any anime fan worldwide. And her impression of Japan is really typical of a non-Japanese person lol. Kinda reminds me of some of my own impression of Japan from before.

At Miyuki’s house, she was telling her mom about how all their friends look up to Iwasaki as a cool and calm person. Miyuki’s mom started to recall some events which contradicts their impression of Iwasaki and tried super hard to stop giggling, with Iwasaki turning beet red next to Miyuki.

And I always do enjoy it whenever Kagami is with Misao. It’s like Kagami with a more … normal Konata. So it usually ends up in a pretty funny situation. I couldn’t help but lol when Misao mercilessly pointed out that Kagami always looks scary. The part where Misao keep asking Kagami questions which she just replied with a “hmm” all the time is quite entertaining as well.

Kuroi-sensei has terrible luck.

Looks like they called in Gotouza-sama (Yuuko Gotou omg?!) to settle the dispute between Akira and Shiraishi. I wonder if Akira took lessons from her because she really reminds me of Akira herself, only… with more authority.

Next episode title is to be announced (TBA)… and they weren’t kidding.

Episode 24: TBA

Rating: 9/10

Lucky Star Episode 24

No opening sequence, and an abrupt ending. So why a 9? Full version of Motteke! Sailor Fuku! is why.

It’s the last school festival for the 3rd years and the first for Patty in Japan. She came up with a great idea and tried to recruit people for it, even to the extent of bribing Konata with a ticket to an event which I’m guessing is another actual event with Hirano Aya. Konata wanting to shake hands with Hirano Aya just feels weird if you think about it XD

And Konata put on a grand performance to force Kagami and Tsukasa to take part in it as well.

Akira and Shiraishi finally meets in school and seems like they’re still pretty pissed at each other. Akira was supposed to perform Cape of Thirty Years on stage and Shirashi is the MC for the festival. Shiraishi pulled a fast one over Akira by stopping her rehearsal even before she finished singing her first line.

Motteke! Sailor Fuku!

Then its finally time for the cheerleading opening act by Konata and co. It was seriously just a matter of time before this appeared. After all, Motteke! Sailor Fuku is the next Hare Hare Yukai. Mark my words, it’s just another matter of time before a real cheerleading team start performing to this.

The festival finally arrives and everyone is nervous behind the curtains waiting to start off the show. But they quickly become relaxed once again when Shiraishi made a fool of himself as the MC. As the curtains drew open, the series finally ended.

But I wonder… what are the chances of a second season of Lucky Star? Definitely way better than what Azumanga Daioh had 😛 I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Lucky Star has definitely become a favourite of mine.

Gundam 00

Episode 2: Gundam Meister

Rating: 7/10

Gundam 00 Episode 2

Finally some background info is given on the world. This time the world is fighting for solar power through orbital elevators. There are 3 orbital elevators altogether, each under the control of one of the world superpower.

Compared to the first episode, there’s actually some character introduction. Although the main focus of this episode is the demonstration of the Meister’s ability to pilot the Gundams. Celestial Beings had begun to move to Southern India aka Sri Lanka to stop the war there.

The Gundams easily pwned both sides, which surprised all of the 3 superpowers. We get to see a bit of Setsuna’s true character and how the other Meisters feels about him. Seems like there’s something about Setsuna that even the Meisters doesn’t know about.

Graham Acre actually launched to have a one-on-one against Setsuna. It would be interesting to see what happens, especially since Setsuna managed to go against so many grunts with ease earlier. Then again, those grunts looked so weak, even a Zaku would be a powerful match against them.

Gundam 00 is starting to grab my interest and as long as it doesn’t start to move towards Gundam Wing’s style, I’ll continue to watch it.

Weekly Review #14 – Shana II, Gundam 00, You’re Under Arrest

Posted by Neko Kyou in Weekly Review on October 14th, 2007

I actually have a lot of anime which I would have liked to watch last week and this week, but as I’ve mentioned before I’ve been quite busy :( Hopefully I’ll have more time next week. Haven’t even got around to writing the episode reviews for Code Geass.

I had actually thought that we were shown a flashback from the first season since the scenes and conversations were very similar. It didn’t take long before Yuji realized that something really weird was going on, especially with the appearance of Friagne the Hunter.

After the battle with Friagne, Yuji tried to ask if Shana or Alastor felt that anything was wrong. They totally ignored Yuji’s comments. After school, he tried asking the same to Wilhelmina but got the same response.

Yuji knew then that this had to be the work of a Guze no Tomogara or an unrestricted spell so he tried to look for Margery at Satou’s house. However, the matter what route he takes, he always ends up at the same spot.

Back home, Yuji pondered on what has been happening some more. After a while, he came to a conclusion that perhaps it was the other way round then what he had thought. Pretty smart for Yuji if you ask me 😛 He decided to test out his theory by asking his mom a question which she would not answer.

The scene where the Aizen twins attacked Shana appeared, and Yuji decided to further test his theory by intentionally letting go of the ladder to fall down, but instead he floated up to Shana’s side. Shana looked at Yuji and did not speak, confirming Yuji’s theory once more. He was in a dream world made up of his memories.

He allowed Sorath so slash him with the Nietono no Shana and finally managed to return to reality, where they were actually fighting a weak Guze no Tomogara. Shana managed to make quick work of her, but she seemed to be mysteriously happy even when she was slashed in two. Obviously this isn’t the last we’ve seen of her. Yuji tried to recall what he wanted to tell Shana but could no longer remember the dream world he was in.

As they continue to make their way to school, Yuji asked what Shana had said right before Alastor was summoned back in Seirei-den. I used to thought that Yuji was a bastard for not responding to Shana back then – apparently he hadn’t heard the last and most important word Shana had said. After a year, we’ve finally discovered the truth~!

It was really funny hearing Alastor sounding embarrassed for Shana lol. All in all, the first episode is really just a prologue for some sinister plan cooked up by the Bal Masque group.

Gundam 00

Gundam 00 Episode 1

Episode 1: Celestial Beings

Rating: 6/10

First impression of Setsuna – Sousuke Sagara of FMP. I mean, the whole small kid with a machine gun in middle-east style war-torn towns with mechs seriously does remind me of Sousuke’s childhood as a mercenary. The only difference here is a Gundam came to save the day.

I’ve heard a lot of good remarks about Gundam 00’s first episode, but I really didn’t see what’s so great about it. Maybe most people were just happy that there wasn’t any signs of Kira, Freedom or Archangel. Meh.

But I must admit that the show exceeded my expectation. The animation was better, and the Gundam units weren’t that bad, especially Dynames and Kyrios. I still think Exia looks like it’s missing a few parts somehow. The AEU model reminded me of Zone of Enders.

Character-wise, I didn’t really like any of the Meisters. Especially Tieria. Up until I heard him speak, I’ve always thought that he was a “she”. I almost choked while drinking when I heard him speak. I do like Graham Acre and Wong Ryumin, though XD

For once, no Gundam was stolen or taken away from an opposing force. The 4 units seemed to have been built specifically for the Celestial Beings organization.

The first episode doesn’t really have much story or character showcasing. It’s all about what the Gundam units could do. I have a spark of hope for this series, but I’m much happier with some of the other series this season right now.

You’re Under Arrest: Full Throttle

You're Under Arrest Full Throttle Episode 1

Episode 1: Prologue of Racing

Rating: 7/10

After 6 long years, the entire Bokuto crew is back to put you under arrest once more. Full Throttle (Charlie’s Angels?) picks up where the 2nd season left off and both Miyuki and Natsumi were coming back to Bokuto station.

Miyuki met a young boy, Randy, at the airport. As fate would have it, they were both heading towards the same destination and were seated right next to each other as well. The both of them became very friendly after a few rounds of gaming on Miyuki’s laptop.

After they landed, Miyuki found Randy was still around and no one had came to pick him up. But soon after a mysterious man in black came and started to drag Randy away. As he did so, Randy turned around looking distressed, and suddenly called out Miyuki for help.

Miyuki grabbed an otaku’s bag and used it to knock the *MIB* away. She pulled Randy with her as she hopped into a van and drove off with it. The man got into a black car driven by another person and started to chase their van.

Natsumi saw the chase on TV and easily recognized Miyuki’s driving style and went off with a bike to go after her. The mighty duo was finally reunited when Natsume finally caught up with Miyuki and immediately pulled their infamous insane Miyuki turning + crazy Natsumi manual brake technique, causing their pursuers to crash into the police roadblock.

To a first timer watching the series, I would admit this probably looks a bit weird and silly. But to a long time fan of the series, it rox! 😀
