This post is almost a week late, but no matter, because in about 2 more days we’ll finally get to see Xellos making his appearance. Based on past experiences, Xellos showing up would mean that we’ll finally get to know which Dard Lord/Evil Dragon is threatening to destroy the world and only Lina could help stop him.

Pokota seems to be on a secret mission to destroy the mage-tanks or else something bad is going to happen. But honestly, why are those things such a threat, especially when Lina could just easily Dragon Slave everything to dust without breaking a sweat. Thus, my conclusion is that the mage-tanks don’t really play that big a role in whoever the new villain is and that these tanks will soon be turned into useless cannon fodders.

I don’t think there’s any other “good guys” around that I would like to see dead other than Amelia. She was annoying back when she was first introduced, she continued to be annoying throughout the series until Slayers Try, and she’s still one annoying girl here in Revolution.

When Amelia was confirmed to be in Slayers Revolution, I cringed instinctively, though I didn’t really know why. Hey, it had been a loooong, long time since I last watched Slayers. But now I remembered why I cringed that day. Someone needs to kill Amelia.

Zelgadis gone mad!

Also, was Zelgadis this crazy and so easily manipulated last time? I remembered him to be calm and cool, or did he spent too much time around Lina and Amelia and they drove him insane?

Revived Souls

The zombies are attacking the Konoha village. The village ninjas are trying their best to fend off the enemy but no avail. Their only ways to defeat the zombies are by eliminating the summoner. So, all that they can do now is just to defend the area.

Besides the zombies, the four Guardian Ninjas are revived too. Asuma has a little conversation with them and tries to persuade them to return to their eternal slumber. Unfortunately, the Guardian Ninjas are ordered to destroy the village and they can rest until they have fulfilled their goals.

Meanwhile, Naruto is chasing after Sora and ends up fighting with Fuka. Asuma is battling with one of the Guardian named Kitane. Yamato encounters Fudo. Sora meets up with Furido and is shocked to know Furido’s main objective.

Not again!!

I’m so curious now… Did Charles did this with V.V. as well?

I’ve always thought that Lelouch wanted to find the truth behind his mother’s murder, but when the chance came, he used it to have Charles shoot himself. Not only was that rash, it didn’t work very well. On the other hand, if he had gotten Charles to spill the truth, at least he would have known what really happened. No, he wasted it on the now immortal Charles.

And I was right! Charles did screw V.V. Sure it might seem like he wanted death, but he sure didn’t look all that happy about it in the end.

Geass = Laser that can bounce off reflective surfaces.

When Charles was under the influence of Geass and shot himself, I knew that it was too easy to be true. But for one short moment, maybe about 3 seconds, I thought that it might actually be true. I mean, this is Sunrise and Code Geass we’re talking about. If they can screw it up, they probably will. If they don’t, they’ll screw up somewhere even more. They did, but with C.C. instead.

While it would be extremely bad for Lelouch and the Black Knights with C.C. in her… vulnerable state, personally I would probably prefer to have this version of C.C. 😀

Villetta’s jumping off the cliff to shield Ohgi confirms that she’s not as cold-hearted as she would like others to think.

Jet Black Signal Fire / Lockdown of Darkness

There is another 1 hour special episode from Naruto anime this time around. The main part of this episode is about the assault from the Fire Country rebels. The bad guys are very formidable. The manage to penetrate Kohona village defenses unharm. In fact, the guards are being squashed by their earth element jutsu. Earth element kinda rocks! Get it?!

Before the assault, Sora is trying to find out the truth from Asuma. Thie results to a couple of fights between Sora and Asuma and, unfortunately, Naruto is injured because of it. Naruto tries to chase after Sora to console him but the only one that can make Sora to stand still is Asuma. Asuma explains that Sora is being used by the rebels to put the villagers in danger.

The following episode will be an exciting one as there will be a lot of battles from different groups of people in Konoha. Naruto may encounter his lustrous enemy again! I wonder what she has in her sleeves for Naruto this time around. Sai should recover soon as the village is low in ninjas to defend the village from the zombies. We may also get a lot of Asuma actions too.

When Lina threw him to the jellyfish, I knew 1 of 2 things is going to happen. He would either come back friends with the gelatin blob or he would re-appear to save the day while having his fill of grilled jelly tentacles.

Lo’ and behold! He came back with a new friend called Jirou.

But I am lost about one thing right now. After last episode, I was half-convinced that Detective Gumshoe Inspector Wiser was the person who stole the design of the digimon’s Pokota’s mage-tanks. Now it seems like he might not be a bad person after all and is a lot more cunning that he looks.

Nothing extraordinary have happened so far, but watching new episodes of Slayers just makes me feel good. Then again, maybe it just looks like nothing extraordinary is happening exactly because we’re so used to Lina & Co.’s antiques.

What surprises me is that Zel isn’t even trying to escape… or maybe he just can’t?

Things are still looking rather vague at the moment, we still haven’t got a clue as to which evil dark lord/dragon servant is trying to bring chaos and destruction to the world yet. We’ll probably only find out when Xellos makes his appearance, which I hope is soon. He’s only the most interesting character in Slayers after Lina XD
