Episode 19: The Trap is Sprung! Team Gai’s Enemies

Rating: 6/10

Naruto Shippuden Episode 19

In all honesty, I would probably be cursing at this episode if I wasn’t a Naruto manga reader. This episode screams slowness and filler, stretching out the out the time before the actual battle with Akatsuki begins. The filler comes in the form of extended battle between Team Gai and their clones. Although a more elaborate fighting scene here is very welcomed, they didn’t really do a good job at it. The battle scene is pretty much each member of Team Gai battling their own mirror image, using the same moves at the same time over and over again.

Naruto Shippuden Episode 19

Got kinda repetitive after the first 5 minutes or so. Neji’s battle might had been interesting, but they skipped all the good stuff and only showed the aftermath of about half a dozen or so Hakkesh? Kaiten on the grounds surrounding the two Neji.

History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi

Episode 35: No Burdens! The Time of Conclusion is Finally Here

Rating: 7/10

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Episode 35

After the climax in the previous episode, the 1st Fist Odin appeared to stop Loki from continuing his plan. Odin forced Loki to retreat and offered Hermit a chance to stay with Ragnarok, which was declined without any hesitation at all. Kenichi showed no signs of recognizing who the 1st Fist really is and despite that, Odin still vowed that he would fulfill “that promise” that was made a long time ago and disappeared into thin air.

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi Episode 35

Hermit insisted to continue his fight with Kenichi and they both resumed where they left off using every last bit of energy they have with everyone else watching from the sideline. I must say it was a rather interesting battle despite them both being heavily wounded from before. A great ending to Kenichi-Hermit arc, definitely one of the best in Kenichi so far.

I see you fixed your site 😉 I’ve heard a bit about Naruto, would you recommend it to me?

Oh, and I love your little smily faces you have after your ratings, they are awesome!

Yeah lol. I need to thank you for showing me the problem with my theme.

I’d definitely recommend Naruto, just skip the filler episodes. Many people dropped the series because of it, but they are picking it back up from Shippuden. Well, at least most of the non-manga readers are.

Lol, the smiley faces are taken from my MSN emotes and some from forums 😀 Kinda cute, aren’t they?
