Fullmetal Alchemist deserves as much of a shot at being on this list as Inuyasha does – which has been running since 2000. I wish it’d just stop already. >.

I agree with the #1 pick. Ouran High School Host Club was an amazing and funny anime. I probably had more fun watching this anime than any others I can think of.

I enjoyed Fullmetal Alchemist, and I know it’s one of the most popular series around. But FMA was released in 2004, so it doesn’t exactly count when it comes to the Top 10 of 2006

It’s a good like. Haruhi, Black Cat, Eureka 7… It’s good.

But, there are two rather amazing anime that I think you’re forgetting.

Fullmetal Alchemist and FLCL.

For me, Fullmetal Alchemist was the only anime that I’ve seen in ages that really touched me on an emotional level, where I could connect with the characters and still love the plot that much.

FLCL needs no explanation. It’s an amazing anime, with the astounding ability to develop almost all of the characters so much in only six episodes. That, with the plot and the underlying tones, makes it great. The fact that the first time you watch it, it leaves you clueless about what it’s really about just makes it all the better.

But that’s just me.

Haha, Pokemon, yeah right… I’m surprised that it has lasted so long.

As for the list, it’s a very nice list. A little different from mine, but that’s good so, means that there are some animes that I should check out.

What’s with all these gay anime shows? Where’s the original one, Pokemon? You should seriously have Pokemon as one of the top 10 anime of 2006. POKEMON 4 EVER!!
