Any Type of Filler = More Money for the Producers/Company

Anime, when they are counterparts to a manga, are started early so the money and popularity can be cashed in on as soon as possible. I find this interesting because, in my mind, anime like Bleach and Naruto would look better and flow properly if the anime didn't jump the gun. Compare a 26 - 50 episode title to a 200 - 300 episode title. The artwork differences are usually high.

I'm really surprised fans put up with filler and low quality episodes. Bleach and Naruto wouldn't drag on (seemingly) forever if the anime wasn't started until the manga was around 80% complete. Their re-watchability (sp?) would probably rise too because they would be 100 - 150 episodes long compared to the 300+ they are at now.

But, that's just my wishful thinking. I don't bother with many manga/anime nowadays do to the above. I prefer one, consistent storyline instead of filler episodes or multiple interpertations of the same plot. Why cannot series have a solid beginning an ending? Video games, novels, movies, manga... it seems like every popular medium is milked until the last drop is gone. All flash. No substance.

So, yes, I dislike any type of filler.
