Ike Hayato, His Glorious Day

Shakugan no Shana II Episode 7

This is actually actually a pretty good episode. Maybe its because it’s been a couple of weeks since I’ve watched Shana and have totally lost my old frustration towards the lack of action in the series or maybe I’ve just given up hope to ever see any real ass-kicking in this second season.

Ike is surprisingly scary when it comes to organizing events and only Wilhelmina would be able to see his reasoning and go along with his plan without batting an eyelid. Being overly well prepared and having the entire day planned out for a trip to the theme park always spells disaster. Which is why I never bother to do any real planning for such a trip. You’ll always end up doing totally different things in a different order.

“Good memories comes from good planning.”

This guy obviously needs help with a reality check. While it’s somewhat true, the best memories are often ones with little planning and just enjoying the moment without any worries. At least that’s true from my own experience.

Shana is just full of win this episode, going for all the roughest and toughest rides and games. Shana with a lightsaber is pure awesomeness. Alastor should really find a lightsaber to replace the Nietono no Shana. It’s actually interesting to see Shana wanting to have fun for once.

Ike’s motion sickness is out of this world…

Come on, a ferris wheel!? *shakes head*

I’m kind of glad that Shakugan has taken a different turn this season. When it returns to glory, it’ll be all that more satisfying.
