Just got back from Chihara Minori Live @ DaiCon 09 concert.

I’m tired, sligthly deaf on my right ear, have bruises on my feet and very lacking on sleep but I’m extremely happy!

The experience was truly a first for me as I’ve never attended anything that’s even close to a concert before and I can easily say that this is without a doubt one of the best and most memorable moments I’ve ever had.

Managed to take a lot more pictures today (but none of Minori, since we’re not allowed to ) but I’m too tired to post them up right now, not to mention I have to catch my flight back home in a few more hours.

Minorin, thank you for coming!

Can’t believe I almost missed this by a day, I kept thinking it’s tomorrow when it’s actually today that this blog was first started 2 years ago.

You can easily see how often I used to post back then compared to now. It was probably the fresh excitement of having a blog, which has obviously died out by now.

But that doesn’t mean I’m getting tired of anime or blogging. I just have less time now and I’m really a lazy person by nature which is why I setup a Twitter account to accompany this blog so I can tweet short thoughts rather than doing a full post.

Everything looks so yummy in there and I mean everything *droolz*

Time sure flies when you enjoy what you’re doing. Without realizing it, a year has already passed since I first started this blog. According to my WordPress, there are a total of 258 posts (excluding this one) and 594 comments at the time of this posting.

I like to think that it’s because of the interactions with readers, commentators, and other bloggers that had kept me going, so a big THANK YOU for everyone who’s reading this and hopefully I’ll be able to make another similar post next year

My original plan back when I created this current theme was for it to last only until today. I wanted to create a new theme for this blog’s first anniversary, but because time doesn’t really permit, I’ll just update the banner and the layout’s colour scheme a little. It might not be a new theme, but at least it has a fresher look now

Looking back, maybe I should have waited another week before starting this blog. That way, it would share the same birthday as me! XD

Took me quite a long time to get all these uploaded thanks to the bad Internet connection that keeps disconnecting every 10-30 minutes. Anyway, all these are videos of Morita on stage that I’ve managed to catch with my camera which was running low on both memory and battery. Next time, I’ll need to bring a bigger memory card (which is empty) and more batteries. And probably a better camera as well.

I missed out this image in my previous post on GACC 2008 2nd day cosplay. My 2nd set of batteries for my digital camera died while trying to take this picture, so I used my phone camera instead. This was the last picture I took of the event right before I left.

This cosplayer moves around slowly and almost gracefully creepy, giving me the same vibe as the No Face in Spirited Away… Very nice.

Here are my loots from GACC2008. Total amount spent was actually below RM100, since I forgot to bring money. Was actually rather tempted to buy a few of the models and figurines that were on sale, but they were simply too expensive and I just didn’t had enough on me.

Like I said, this was my first time attending this sort of event and I wasn’t fully prepared and didn’t know what to expect. I was lucky to even remember to bring my camera in the first place.

Anyway, on to the loots!

Easily the best bookmark available in the entire event!

This is one huge poster, although not as nice as the bookmarks…

The best part about this goodie bag? The bag itself!

I already a ton of other 2008 calendars, but this is my by far the best!

Bought these from one of the booths, can’t recall which exactly… But they’re really good.

Seems like I bought the last Phoenix Wright set. Sadly, I was actually hoping to get 2-3 sets

This was so well drawn and coloured, it was impossible NOT to buy! Maybe I should from this up (or so says Dyna)

A few badges bought from a couple of booths, Godot’s badge is actually quite nice.

I’m still trying to convert and compress the videos I took of Morita on stage. Hopefully I can get it done by tomorrow and upload them, then I can post them up.
